Clothing choice is an important aspect of every photograph. While the goal is to showcase your love and personality, clothing plays a big role in an image's aesthetic. Every person that books a session will have access to a personal online styling service. I can guide you through this process and help pick outfits that allow your personalities to shine and that will make your images look amazing hanging on your walls.
Photographing the love of a family or the growth of a child are some of my biggest joys in life. In order to document an exciting time in your life, decide on which type of session you would like and contact me to set up a date. I am happy to walk you through the options and help you decide what option works best for your family and your budget.

To book a session, first you need to decide what you want photographed! Would you like to include the whole family or just the kids? Do you want to shoot in the studio or outside? When were you hoping to have pictures done? Think about all of these questions while looking through the session options.

Before choosing which type of session you'd like, decide if you are more interested in print products or digital images. Pick the option that best fits your needs and your budget and then let's pick a date! Once we have a date picked out and the session retainer is paid, I will send access to an online styling service and will be happy to help pick your outfits!

A few days before the session, I will let you know where to meet for an outdoor location. We will meet at the scheduled time, but don't be too early, because I'm late for everything! I promise to make your session as painless and fun as possible and I'm not above bribery! Feel free to bring treats to keep kids and husbands happy.

About three weeks after your session, I will send a link to an online gallery. This is where you will order prints and download digitals. If you need help picking images to hang on the wall, I am always available to help narrow down the best and put together gallery walls!

School portraits are offered to small schools, day cares, preschools, home schools, etc. These portraits can be traditional on a solid backdrop or styled, which would include a cute themed set-up. Contact Katie for pricing and package information.

Headshots are available in the studio or at your place of business, if facilities are conducive. Headshots are quick and painless. Tiered pricing is available, which is based on the number of employees being photographed. Digital images with print release are included.
Headshots

Maternity sessions are suggested around 32-36 weeks gestation. It is encouraged to include your significant other and big siblings. A greatly discounted mini maternity session is offered with a newborn booking. Without a newborn booking, you can choose from a mini maternity session or select one of the family session options.

Family sessions are offered year round in the studio and outside, weather permitting. There are multiple locations around Danville that I use for outdoor family sessions.

Child-only sessions are offered year round in the studio and outside, weather permitting. Mini sessions (30 minutes) are offered though a full session (one hour) may be booked, if preferred. Cake smash sessions are also offered for first birthday celebrations.
Kids

Newborn sessions are done within the first two weeks of life at my studio in Danville. Families and siblings are encouraged to participate. All hats, headbands and props are provided. Mini sessions and full sessions are offered. A First Year Plan is also available.
Newborns

Turnaround time is approximately three weeks. I do not typically post sneak peeks and will not post anything on social media until payment is paid in full.
How long will it take for our images to be ready?
Each family that books with me will have access to a personal styling service! I can help pick outfits or you can do it on your own. When choosing items, I recommend dressing your family in colors that coordinate and complement each other while mixing pattern, texture, and fun accessories. I suggest picking a cute outfit for one person and then coordinating the rest of the family based on that one outfit.
What do you recommend we wear?
I will travel outside of Boyle County if my schedule allows. A mileage fee of $1 per mile outside of Boyle County will be applied.
Do you travel for sessions?
If the weather is not conducive (ie: rain) for an outdoor session, then we will reschedule. I do still shoot when it is chilly and cloudy outside!
what about bad weather if we're scheduled for outside?
Contact me to schedule! We will then begin planning the perfect session for you and your family! The non-refundable session retainer must be paid to confirm.
How do I book a session?
The earlier, the better! Newborn sessions are shot within the first two weeks of life, but it's great to have your due date on the calendar as soon as possible. We will schedule the session once the baby is born. It is recommended to book a family session 2-3 months in advance to guarantee availability.
When is the best time to book a session?
I photograph newborns, kids, families and the occasional couple. I also offer headshots and school portraits opportunities to small schools. I do not photograph weddings.
